Project Manager (Residential)

Join the world leader in post-disaster restoration (fire, water damage, etc.) within a close-knit organisation (approx. 100 people) that offers great stability, where over half the staff have been with the company for more than 10 years. You’ll play a central role liaising between affected clients, loss adjusters/insurers and field teams, with a direct impact on the restoration of buildings.

Why apply?

  • Key role: you manage your cases from start to finish (technical aspects, coordination, partner relations) across the Brussels and Brabant regions.
  • Attractive package: up to €5k gross, electric company car, fringe benefits, individual bonus.
  • A genuine mix of field and office work: site visits in the morning, coordination and admin in the afternoon at the Brussels office.
  • Structured training: 2 months of on-site coaching, covering quotes, insurance processes and claims.

Your tasks & responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of residential claims in Brussels, Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant.
  • Visit sites, assess damage and draw up quotes (workload, resources, skips, etc.).
  • Organise and coordinate teams of workers (in-house and temporary staff) and site schedules.
  • Ensure comprehensive case management: loss adjusters, brokers, insurance companies, end customers.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of your cases (quotes, agreements, invoicing follow-up).

The ideal candidate

  • At least 5 years’ professional experience, ideally in claims handling and/or construction/site management.
  • On-site leadership: comfortable managing teams of workers and ensuring organisational procedures are followed.
  • Bilingual in French and Dutch (minimum working level required – interview in Dutch)
  • Organised, able to manage several cases simultaneously, with a strong sense of priorities.
  • Empathetic and resilient: you will be working with people who have recently suffered a loss.
