Missions & responsibilities
As a Fund Accountant in Private Equity/ Real Estate, you are responsible for maintaining the accounting records of the assigned clients from A to Z in according to IFRS and LUX GAAP. This role includes the following tasks:
- Client Relationship: point-of-contact for multiple clients (internal and external) at a daily operational level
- Liaising with investment managers, brokers & custodians daily where issues arise with regards the day-to-day running of the fund
- Process the capital activity for the funds in the accounting system
- Calculate NAV, investor allocations, financial statements, daily trade, cash reconciliations and cash flow projections
- Process cash transactions, income, and expenses
- Calculate preferred return, waterfall, management fee and accruals
