Our client, one of Belgium’s leading independent law firms based in Brussels, is looking for an associate lawyer with 2 to 7 years of experience in corporate and M&A law.

Missions and responsibilities

• Advise national and international corporate, financial institution and private clients on a broad range of corporate matters.

• Support and lead M&A transactions, both domestic and cross-border, as well as corporate restructurings and corporate litigation.

• Assist in the structuring and documentation of acquisition and project financing, in close collaboration with the firm’s banking team.

• Collaborate actively with team members to deliver efficient, high-quality legal solutions in a positive and professional working environment.

Ideal profile

• Master’s degree in Belgian law, with 2 to 7 years of experience in corporate and M&A law, ideally gained in a similar practice.

• Fluent in Dutch; English and French at a professional working level. Any additional language is a plus.

• Excellent writing skills with a pragmatic and hands-on approach.

• Open-minded, enthusiastic team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong commercial awareness.

• Any international experience (work or studies abroad) is considered a strong asset.
