We are currently looking for a Payroll Manager to lead, structure, and elevate all payroll activities in Belgium. As a key internal expert, you will ensure operational excellence, legal compliance, and continuous improvement of compensation practices.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate payroll and benefits activities across multiple entities in Belgium.
  • Monitor and implement changes in Belgian labour and tax legislation, ensuring clear internal communication.
  • Guarantee accurate, timely, and compliant salary payments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on payroll and benefits topics.
  • Manage, coach, and develop your team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to cross-functional HR projects to optimise processes and tools.
  • Oversee payroll systems and processes, including complex cases and quality controls.
  • Deliver reliable and insightful payroll reporting for both legal and internal stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in HR, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll management within a structured environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian labour and tax regulations.
  • Fluent in French and Dutch (English is a plus).
  • Solid expertise in compensation and extra-legal benefits.
  • Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and develop a team (minimum 3 years of management experience).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
