Your roles and responsibilities

  • Act as a technical expert (SME) for production processes and equipment (Upstream)
  • Ensure the reliability, performance and GMP compliance of the facilities
  • Analyse the root causes of technical incidents and lead corrective actions
  • Optimise equipment performance (throughput, robustness, reduction of breakdowns)
  • Participate in engineering projects (CAPEX, modifications, new installations)
  • Draft and maintain technical and GMP documentation (deviations, CAPA, change control, etc.)
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, automation and quality teams
  • Train and support operators and technicians on technical aspects
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and process standardisation

 

The ideal candidate

  • Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, electrical, automation or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years’ industrial experience (processes, production or engineering)
  • Fluency in French and English is a strong advantage
  • Good understanding of industrial equipment (reactors, pumps, centrifuges, etc.)
  • Knowledge of GMP and/or regulated environments
  • Experience in automation (PLC/DCS/SCADA – DeltaV is an asset)
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems in a structured manner
  • Comfortable working on the shop floor and able to respond quickly to urgent situations
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Curiosity, autonomy and a commitment to continuous improvement
