Your roles and responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert (SME) for production processes and equipment (Upstream)
- Ensure the reliability, performance and GMP compliance of the facilities
- Analyse the root causes of technical incidents and lead corrective actions
- Optimise equipment performance (throughput, robustness, reduction of breakdowns)
- Participate in engineering projects (CAPEX, modifications, new installations)
- Draft and maintain technical and GMP documentation (deviations, CAPA, change control, etc.)
- Work closely with production, maintenance, automation and quality teams
- Train and support operators and technicians on technical aspects
- Contribute to continuous improvement and process standardisation
The ideal candidate
- Engineering degree (mechanical, industrial, electrical, automation or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years’ industrial experience (processes, production or engineering)
- Fluency in French and English is a strong advantage
- Good understanding of industrial equipment (reactors, pumps, centrifuges, etc.)
- Knowledge of GMP and/or regulated environments
- Experience in automation (PLC/DCS/SCADA – DeltaV is an asset)
- Ability to analyse and solve problems in a structured manner
- Comfortable working on the shop floor and able to respond quickly to urgent situations
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Curiosity, autonomy and a commitment to continuous improvement
