Our client is an AIFM authorised by the CSSF, specialising in the management of alternative investment funds. An established structure with an experienced legal team and a diversified fund portfolio across private equity, private debt and real assets.
As part of its growth, the company is looking for a Legal Counsel to strengthen its legal department and take ownership of high value matters.
Legal Counsel, Your role
As Legal Counsel, you will be in charge of:
- Legal monitoring of the AIFM and the managed funds in line with the CSSF regulatory framework
- Structuring and updating fund vehicles
- Drafting and negotiating key legal documents
- Regulatory watch and compliance (AIFMD, AML, CSSF reporting)
- Negotiation with service providers (depositary, central administrator, auditor)
- Supporting internal teams on the legal aspects of fund operations
Legal Counsel, Your profile
The ideal profile for this Legal Counsel role:
- Degree: Master’s in Law obtained from a European university
- Experience: 4 to 7 years in a top tier law firm in Luxembourg or in the legal department of an AIFM
- Strong expertise in alternative investment funds (AIF); CSSF experience is a plus
- Languages: Fluent English and French required
