En tant que manager, responsable RH ou charg\u00e9 de recrutement, il est essentiel de (re)connaitre les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s de chacune de ces g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pour adopter une pratique manag\u00e9riale et des techniques de recrutement sur mesure.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"has-inline-color\">G\u00e9n\u00e9rations X, Y et Z : qui sont-elles ?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Au 21\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, les sociologues du travail distinguent trois cat\u00e9gories de travailleurs pr\u00e9sents sur la sc\u00e8ne professionnelle :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>La g\u00e9n\u00e9ration X<\/strong>\u00a0correspond aux individus n\u00e9s entre 1965 et 1979 ;<\/li>\n<li><strong>La g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y<\/strong>\u00a0concerne les personnes n\u00e9es entre 1980 et 2000 ;<\/li>\n<li><strong>La g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z<\/strong>\u00a0caract\u00e9rise les jeunes n\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de l\u2019an 2000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Ces derni\u00e8res se construisent une identit\u00e9 professionnelle et des attentes particuli\u00e8res selon les contextes soci\u00e9taux dans lesquels elles sont n\u00e9es et \u00e9voluent. Par exemple, la\u00a0<strong>g\u00e9n\u00e9ration X<\/strong>\u00a0a v\u00e9cu les premi\u00e8res vagues de licenciement et de ch\u00f4mage, apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode de plein emploi pendant les Trente Glorieuses. Les travailleurs de cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration X ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 deux qualit\u00e9s professionnelles propres \u00e0 ce contexte :\u00a0<strong>l\u2019engagement\u00a0<\/strong>envers l\u2019employeur et le\u00a0<strong>respect de la hi\u00e9rarchie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Les personnes n\u00e9es entre 1980 et 2000 \u2013 la\u00a0<strong>g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Y<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 sont quant \u00e0 elles surnomm\u00e9es\u00a0<em>digital natives<\/em>. Cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration marque la transition num\u00e9rique du monde du travail : elle est amen\u00e9e \u00e0 utiliser les outils informatiques dans l\u2019exercice de ses t\u00e2ches professionnelles, bien qu\u2019elle ait grandi dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0<em>sans internet<\/em>. Cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration dite\u00a0<em>de transition<\/em>\u00a0est attentive \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 de son environnement et de ses conditions de travail. Elle\u00a0repr\u00e9sente 27 % de la population mondiale actuelle, d\u2019apr\u00e8s une \u00e9tude men\u00e9e par un cabinet am\u00e9ricain en 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Enfin, la\u00a0<strong>g\u00e9n\u00e9ration X<\/strong>\u00a0d\u00e9signe les personnes arrivant tout juste sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi. Elles ont grandi dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 globalis\u00e9e et digitalis\u00e9e. Particuli\u00e8rement flexibles, elles sont caract\u00e9ris\u00e9es par une\u00a0<em>extr\u00eame mobilit\u00e9 professionnelle<\/em>, une fronti\u00e8re floue entre la vie priv\u00e9e et la vie professionnelle et une capacit\u00e9 de concentration faible.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"has-inline-color\">Le rapport au travail des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations X, Y et Z<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Face \u00e0 cette cohabitation de\u00a0<em>deux ou trois g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de travailleurs<\/em>\u00a0sur le march\u00e9 de l\u2019emploi, les responsables du recrutement et les managers doivent faire preuve de souplesse et adapter leurs pratiques et leurs m\u00e9thodes.
