We are currently seeking a dynamic and proactive Credit Officer who has a keen interest in contributing to major projects within a universal bank. The position is attached to the Wealth Management division, and the bank is currently undergoing rapid growth in Luxembourg with the development of several projects.

What will be your role?
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applicants by analyzing financial information
- Review and interpret credit reports to determine repayment capacity
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate credit reports
- Assess risks associated with loan applications and make recommendations
- Conduct financial analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities in the credit process
- Periodic reporting and presentation of credit-related information to senior management or board
- Manage credit-related projects, including implementation in different geographic locations
- Collaborate with the Compliance team to align credit processes with legal and regulatory requirements
- Take a reporting role with the head office, providing updates on credit activities and performance
Your profile and key areas of expertise
- Hold a degree in a related field
- Possess a minimum of 5–10 years’ experience in a Private Banking, financial services, or Wealth Management Data Protection role
- Can work autonomously and take full responsibility for assigned tasks
- Exhibit attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate results within tight timeframes
- Display excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively within an internationally exposed team
- Be fluent in English, writing and reading and any other additional European language is a plus
