Duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and strategic support of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily accounting tasks A to Z, including general and analytical accounting, balance sheets, income statements, and tax declarations.
- Performing monthly and annual financial closings.
- Providing backup support to other finance team members.
- Addressing accounting and tax inquiries related to the organization’s activities.
- Liaising with internal and external financial stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and fiscal authorities.
- Contributing to the optimization and implementation of accounting processes and procedures.
Ideal profile
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in accounting, with strong expertise in general and analytical accounting.
- Languages: Proficiency in French and/or Dutch, with a good command of English.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax regulations. Familiarity with IFRS standards is a plus.
