Our client, a well-established investment management firm located in the city center of Luxembourg, is seeking an experienced Fund Controller to support their growing operations. If you have between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience and are looking to advance in a dynamic, collaborative environment, this could be the perfect next step for you.
In this role, you will play a key part in managing the financial operations and reporting for a portfolio of alternative investment funds. You will work closely with the finance and investment teams to ensure accurate, timely information is provided, driving strategic decisions and supporting growth.
Fund Controller – Your Role and Responsibilities:
– Overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for investment funds
– Preparing fund budgets, forecasts, and detailed analyses for management and stakeholders
– Monitoring cash flows, liquidity, and capital calls/distributions
– Conducting monthly/quarterly fund valuations, including NAV calculations and reconciliations
– Coordinating audits and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
– Supporting investment teams with financial insights, participating in ad hoc financial projects
Fund Controller – Your profile:
Our client is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented candidate who brings a strong foundation in fund accounting or control, ideally within the investment management sector.
– Experience: 3 to 5 years in fund controlling or accounting, preferably within investment management or similar sectors
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
– Languages: Fluent in English and French
– Skills: Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with fund accounting software, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements
