Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Promote and maintain strong relationships to ensure adherence to credit control standards.
  • Drive the implementation of processes and new technologies for improved cost reduction and service levels.
  • Develop and confirm credit policies and procedures.
  • Reduce and maintain overdue debts; improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Manage debtor risk and minimize bad debts.
  • Provide accurate and detailed month-end reporting.
  • Evaluate and review departmental training activities.
  • Enhance services and monitor financial environment changes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of financial reports and updates.
  • Stay updated on trends and innovations within the sector.
  • Actively seek opportunities to enhance departmental profitability.
  • Maintain effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  • Support the organization during high-demand periods.

Ideal profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with strong familiarity with hotel accounting or operations.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in finance or a related field; certification in accounting or credit management is advantageous.
