A Belgian independent law firm is looking for two experienced Corporate M&A Lawyer—one French-speaking and one Dutch-speaking—to join its dynamic and growing practice. Your Role

• Handle a mix of Belgian and international transactions (50/50).
• Advise on Private M&A and Classic M&A deals, with sector-specific opportunities:
  • Francophone role: Classic M&A with a focus on retail and commercial transactions.
  • Dutch-speaking role: Private M&A with a strong focus on tech investments.
• Manage M&A-related litigation when necessary—requiring a creative, strategic approach.
• Work across multiple sectors while having the freedom to develop a niche specialization.
• No rigid hierarchy. Collaborate directly with senior partners while enjoying autonomy in deal execution and team leadership.

The Ideal Profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Corporate M&A.
• Native French or Dutch speaker, with a strong command of English.
• A strong academic background—someone who values legal excellence and continuous learning.
• Experience at a top-tier Belgian or international law firm with exposure to high-quality transactions.
• A strategic, independent mindset—capable of working autonomously while mentoring associates.
• Entrepreneurial and eager to shape their own practice area while contributing to a team-oriented, collaborative culture.
